Paul Urbanek quartet: Canto De Ossanha by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes

The meeting with Afro-Brazilian religion Candoblé inspired Baden Powell and Vinícius de Moraes the album 'Os Afro-sambas'. The opening-track of that CD was Canto de Ossanha, here performed by Patricia Moreno (vocals), Paul Urbanek (piano and arrangement), Robin Gadermaier (bass) and Lukas Böck (drums). Protagonists of the song are Ossanha and Xango, the orisha (spirits) of plants, medicine and justice.
