  • Studied saxophone at the Jazz department of the Conservatory of the City Vienna 
  • Studied clarinet at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at the Kärntner Landeskonservatorium Klagenfurt

Work Experience 

  • Composer and arranger for various big band and combo projects, one of Austria’s most hired and versatile saxophonists in Jazz and Popular Music with participation in numerous national and international CD productions 
  • Musical work with artists including: Marianne Mendt & Band, Erika Pluhar & Ensemble Klaus Trabitsch, Erich Kleinschuster Sextett, Alegre Correa Group, Count Basic, Outreach Orchestra, Dobrek-Brasil, Gansch & Roses, Jazz Big Band Graz, Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra, Lew Soloff, Idris Muhammed, Mathew Garrison, Gene Jackson, Marco Minnemann, Rodney Holmes, Adam Holtzman, Kim Plainfield, Reggie Washington and various others
  • Sideman with international stars such as Chaka Khan, Gloria Gaynor, The Surpremes, The Temptations, Omara Portuondo, Marianne Faithful, Nina Hagen and various others
  • Performances at Jazz festivals all over the world from Helsinki to Sao Paulo and Djakarta 
  • Participation in various theatre productions with the  Burgtheater and Akademie, as well as in productions of the ORF (e.g. Dancing Stars Orchestra, Musical - Die Show)
