Guest Lecture with Branford Marsalis

MDW University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, JAM MUSIC LAB Private University for Jazz and Popular Music Vienna and Gasometer Music City are very happy to welcome saxophonist, composer, music educator and three time Grammy Award Winner Brandford Marsalis. 

From his initial recognition as a young jazz lion, being a sidemen of Clark Terry, Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins and Herbie Hancock, Branford Marsalis has expanded his vision as an instrumentalist, composer, bandleader and educator, crossing stylistic boundaries while maintaining an unwavering creative integrity. In the process, he has become an avatar of contemporary artistic excellence.
