Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility: JAM Faculty Member Visits Royal Academy of Music Aalborg
Miroslav Mirosavljev, Professor of Guitar at JAM MUSIC LAB Private University for Jazz and Popular Music Vienna, completed an Erasmus+ teaching mobility at the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg, Denmark, from November 10th to 12th. The visit took place in the framework of JAM’s long-standing partnership with the Danish institution and supports and supports both universities’ commitment to internationalization for staff and students.
Invited by Professor Jens Christian Kwella, Mirosavljev delivered masterclasses and individual lessons for guitar students over three intensive days, sharing his artistic and pedagogical expertise with the host university’s community.
As part of the mobility, he also contributed to the local jazz scene by performing two concerts with Jens Christian Kwella and students of the Royal Academy: on November 10th at the Center for Danish Jazz History during the Aalborg Guitar Festival & Competition, and on November 12th at Erlings Jazz- & Ølbar in Aarhus.
This exchange highlights the value of Erasmus+ staff and teaching mobilities in strengthening cross-border collaboration, enriching artistic perspectives, and providing meaningful international experiences for faculty members.
