Courses & Costs

In cooperation with the ELOQUENT language institute, we offer the language acquisition program "LANGUAGE IS YOUR SUCCESS".

The language school Eloquent is the official examination center for the Austrian language diploma in German (ÖSD).

These German courses are specially tailored for music professionals. At the end of the course you will acquire the official “B1 German Certificate” from the ÖSD.

German course A1, A2 and B1

The courses are tailored to the needs of musicians and are offered to students of the JAM MUSIC LAB Private University for Jazz and Popular Music Vienna and the Friedrich Gulda School of Music Vienna at offered at particularly low prices!

German courses A1, A2, B1

When: individual arrangement

Mo-Fr: Courses available at different times (morning, happy hour/noon, afternoon, evening)

Saturday: courses available (10am-2pm)

Where: Language school eloquent, Praterstraße 25A/20, 1020 Vienna

Teaching format: classroom (on site); if required online teaching possible

In order to reach language level B1 without prior knowledge: 36 units are usually required.

  • 12 weeks ( 4 hours/week) for A1 Reduced price € 480 (instead of € 685)
  • 12 weeks (4 hours/week) for A2  Reduced price € 480 (instead of € 685)
  • 12 weeks (4 hours/week) for B1  Reduced price € 480 (instead of € 685)

The aim is to achieve the B1 certificate after completing all the courses.

In case you have already knowledge of German, you have the option of joining the course later after taking a placement test at eloquent, or just taking the language test without a course.

After registering with the language school, a contract is formed directly between eloquent and the student. Payment is made directly to eloquent.

Eloquent also offers short intensive courses to prepare for exams. An examination fee (approx. 195 euros) is charged for the B1 examination.
