Yair Kless
Prof. Yair Kless is internationally recognised as one of the leading violin pedagogues. Born in Israel, he studied at the Tel Aviv Music Academy before continuing his education at the Royal Conservatory and the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels. As a soloist and chamber musician, his repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary music, including numerous world premieres.
For decades, he served as Professor at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He has also held guest professorships and teaching appointments at leading international institutions, including the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. Many of his former students have gone on to successful international careers as soloists, concertmasters and professors at renowned music institutions worldwide.
