JAM Alumna Maddy Rose Releases Her First German-Language EP
With “Vom Sein und Werden,” released on 25 September 2026, Austrian singer-songwriter and JAM MUSIC LAB alumna Maddy Rose opens a new chapter in her music. Across four songs, she combines poetic German lyrics with indie pop, vintage sounds and intimate ballads.
The EP moves between anger and tenderness, feminist strength and vulnerability. “Grenzen” is a powerful indie-rock ballad about subtle boundary violations, while “Hätten die Vögel gewusst” looks back at a relationship with bittersweet distance. The gentle “Schlaflied” creates a space for closeness and comfort, and “Wien bei Nacht” closes the EP with a melancholic love letter to Vienna.
Maddy Rose—also known as Magdalena Huber—studied vocals at JAM MUSIC LAB in the class of Anett Thoms. With her first German-language EP, she shows that strength does not always have to be loud: it can also be found in softness, honesty and vulnerability.
