KICK-OFF: JamMusicStage / Concert Mary Jane's Soundgarden
Musikuniversität präsentiert digitale Plattform für Live-Musik, Streaming und NFTs
Die auf Pop, Jazz und Medienmusik spezialisierte JAM MUSIC LAB University präsentiert neue Wege im Bereich Kreation und Vertrieb von Musik im 21. Jahrhundert.
Im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts erhalten Studierende die Möglichkeit, neue Technologien proaktiv mitzugestalten und zu erproben. Eine Plattform, die neueste technologische Entwicklungen im Bereich digitaler Musikverbreitung ins Zentrum rückt, beschäftigt sich mit neuen Aspekten des Live-Streamings, des Musik-Videos und den zahlreichen aktuellen Entwicklungen und Möglichkeiten rund um NFTs.
Mit hochkarätigen Partnern – Prof. Alfred Taudes von der Wirtschaftsuniversität, dem Austrian Blockchain Center und mit Unterstützung der Firma Canon – wird ein mehrjähriges Forschungsprojekt initiiert, das Studierende in ihrer kreativen Arbeit unterstützt und ihnen gleichzeitig wichtige Impulse für die Verbreitungsmöglichkeiten in der musikalisch-digitalen Zukunft bereitstellen soll.
In der Kick-Off-Veranstaltung am 2. Dez. 2022 wird nicht nur die außerordentlich hochwertige Video- und Streaming-Plattform, sondern auch das Potenzial von Musik-NFTs vorgestellt. Im Zentrum der Veranstaltung steht ein Live-Konzert, das auch per Stream besucht werden kann: Tanja Peinsipp, Studierende des JAM und ihre Band Mary Jane’s Soundgarden werden mit ihrer Musik die Konzertbesucher live und per Stream begeistern.

JAM MUSIC LAB University, specializing in pop, jazz and media music, presents new ways of creating and distributing music in the 21st century.
As part of a research project, students are given the opportunity to proactively shape and test new technologies. A platform focusing on the latest technological developments in the field of digital music distribution will explore new aspects of live streaming, music video, and the numerous current developments and possibilities surrounding NFTs.
With top-class partners - Prof. Alfred Taudes from the University of Economics Vienna, the Austrian Blockchain Center and with the support of the company Canon - a multi-year research project is being initiated to support students in their creative work and at the same time provide them with important impulses for distribution possibilities in the musical-digital future.
The kick-off event on Dec. 2, 2022, will showcase not only the exceptionally high-quality video and streaming platform provided by Canon, but also the potential of music NFTs. The event will center on a live concert that can also be attended via stream: Tanja Peinsipp, students of JAM and her band Mary Jane's Soundgarden will delight concertgoers with their music live and via stream.
