AEC IRC Meeting in Budapest: Training, best practice and networking powered by Erasmus+
Claudia Randles, Head of the International Office and Erasmus+ Coordinator, attended the Annual Meeting of the International Relations Coordinators (IRC) at the Liszt Academy in Budapest from 17-20 September 2025. More than 250 representatives from around 40 countries exchanged insights under the theme "The Great Mobility Compass". The programme featured hands-on trainings and workshops on digitalizing Erasmus workflows with EWP and EASY, funding lines from KA131 to KA171, BIP toolkits, student wellbeing, and the responsible use of AI in higher education.
For our institution, Claudia brings back concrete best-practice takeaways: streamlined mobility processes, new partner contacts for BIPs and KA171, and ideas for transparent recognition and international internships. Conclusion: Erasmus+ makes targeted training, vibrant cooperation and resilient networks a reality, delivering direct benefits for students and staff and driving our internationalization forward.
