On the 24th of November the Vienna Jazz Floor Festival presents Both Sides of Joni at Tunnel Vienna.
The project involves New York singer/vocal coach Alexis Cole (also holding a masterclass on the 21st of November at the JAM MUSIC LAB University), JAM-Prof Dr. Monika Herzig as well as Austrian bassist Gina Schwarz.
Both Sides of Joni
Together with singer Janiece Jaffe, a collaboration dedicated to the musical work of Canadian musician Joni Mitchell was created in the summer of 2020. After a successful Kickstarter initiative, selected songs were recorded and released collectively in March as a CD, stream as well as digital download. The CD includes the singles River, Don't Interrupt the Sorrow and Help Me.
