For young talents working in film scoring, composition, music production, game audio, and songwriting, the format offers a rare opportunity to connect artistic development with direct insight into the professional music world.

A look back at the previous years shows just how extraordinary this journey can be. In the first year, the winners travelled to Los Angeles, where they visited Hollywood studios of Hans Zimmer and met Harry Gregson-Williams. In the second year, the journey continued to London, with visits to Abbey Road, AIR Studios, and composer Walter Mair.

Now, in its third year, the challenge once again offers the chance to win a trip to LA. This makes Music in the Woods a truly special format for young musicians who want to develop their artistic voice, gain international perspective, and connect their work with the worlds of film music, media music, and professional music production.
