JAM MUSIC LAB Session – ENOCCHIO

The JAM MUSIC LAB Session – ENOCCHIO introduces a new Austrian pop-rock musical inspired by Pinocchio. In this modern version, the wooden puppet becomes an advanced AI-powered android searching for the meaning of being a good human. Through encounters with love and loneliness, friendship and betrayal, art and commerce, Enocchio discovers that humanity’s greatest challenges are not technological, but deeply human.

This AI musical began as an artistic research project at JAM MUSIC LAB University. Young musicians developed the compositions together—testing ideas, discarding them and combining them in new ways. The result is an energetic mix of rock, pop, funk, hip-hop and jazz, created through a collaborative process involving composition, arrangement and music-theatre production.

ENOCCHIO neither warns against artificial intelligence nor promotes it. Instead, it invites audiences to reflect on creativity, technology and what it truly means to be human.
