From the Challenge to the Red Bull Library: The Success Story of “Music in The Woods” Continues!
The winners of the "Sounds of Red Bull Challenge" have been announced—impressively demonstrating how to successfully bridge the gap between education and international music production.
Key Jersie (JAM student) impressed the jury with exceptional storytelling and was directly recruited into the Sounds of Red Bull production team. Stepan Sobanov scored points with a precise, dynamic score, also securing a spot in the Red Bull Audio Library.
The challenge puts students in direct contact with global media operations: participants score exclusive footage from the world of Red Bull, which is then evaluated by professionals led by Martin Brem (Head of Global Music Services, Red Bull Media House). Outstanding works are included in the international production catalog.
How it all began: Music in The Woods
The "Sounds of Red Bull Challenge" is part of the "Music in The Woods" support program—an initiative by the JAM MUSIC LAB Private University, AKM, and the Austrian Organizers' Association. The goal: to support you as a rising talent in the fields of film music, game audio, and songwriting through an intensive five-day workshop format.
