NEW: Sounds of Red Bull Challenge at Music in The Woods 2025

Starting in 2025, the newly designed “SOUNDS OF RED BULL – Challenge” will become an integral part of the “Music in The Woods” support program. This format offers students the unique opportunity to qualify—with their own productions—for inclusion in the prestigious Red Bull Audio Library and the talent pool of the globally distributed production music catalog SOUNDS OF RED BULL.

As part of cinematic case studies from Red Bull’s media operations, participants gain exclusive insights into professional production workflows and the chance to contribute their own music. Under the direction of Martin Brem, Head of Global Music Services at Red Bull Media House, and his team of music supervisors, the students’ submitted works are analyzed and provided with personalized, expert feedback.

To get involved, we have made several typical Red Bull videos available, which may include sound effects but no music. Your task is to choose a video that resonates with you and create the soundtrack you envision for it. Sync your music with the visuals and submit it. You can choose a specific scene from a film or score an entire video; however, a minimum of one minute of consistent music development is required. Show us how you can make the images emotionally connect with a target audience.

Among the available videos, you will find four that focus on Dance. Red Bull has a long history with Hip Hop, Break-, and Street-dancing, and we are very active in expanding this segment. So, if BEATS are your ‘JAM' (no pun intended), please use these videos to showcase your skills in these genres and styles.
