Arts for Health
JAM MUSIC LAB Private University for Jazz and Popular Music Vienna is a partner of the Austrian Society for Health Competence (ÖGGK) and has established Austria's first research institute for music medicine with a focus on "Arts for Health." In autumn 2023, for example, a multi-part course In this field of research was offered under the direction of JAM lecturer Oliver Graber.
Since autumn 2024, the university is offering courses not only for students but also for anyone interested in maintaining or improving their health through music or dance.
Currently, two programs are available:

- Dance for Health – Dance for Fitness! – More information
Each course runs for four months and is open to individuals aged 18 and older, with no upper age limit. They are accessible to both beginners and professionals, and no prior knowledge is required.
